Context
Several Protestant congregations in the Netherlands were working on modernising their digital workplace. This took place within the broader context of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands, where themes such as archiving, digital meetings, collaboration and information security were increasingly on the agenda.
Implementing Microsoft 365 in such a context requires more than technology. It is also about bringing users along, safeguarding security and setting up an environment that remains usable and manageable in the long term.

Our approach
The programme started with needs analyses to clarify what the congregations involved needed and which scope was realistic. On that basis, project plans were drawn up and multidisciplinary teams were assembled.
The approach consisted of implementing Microsoft 365 functionality, guiding end users, training and education, and targeted stakeholder communication. There was also continuous attention to security, compliance and embedding what had been set up.
The strength of the programme lay in the combination of direction, clear communication and practical introduction. Not only did the technology have to be right, but also the support and guidance around it.
The solution
The result is a phased implementation of Microsoft 365, focused on digital archiving, digital meetings and better collaboration. The digital workplace is not only functionally configured, but also designed with security, adoption and long-term usability in mind.
The solution fits both the technical prerequisites and the day-to-day practice of users within the congregations involved. This lays a foundation that works not only at the moment of delivery, but also remains manageable and extensible in the longer term.
